Notice of “passing Score” requirements

In order to receive a Florida High School Diploma by taking the GED exam, you must meet BOTH of the following requirements: 

1. Achieve a score of 410 or more on each of the five (5) subject area tests.
2. The SUM of the scores on the five (5) subject area tests must add up to at least 2250.

Scoring of tests takes approximately six to eight weeks. The GED office will notify the examinee of whether they passed or failed. Those who fail will receive a letter along with a copy of their transcript. Those who pass will be notified by either phone or mail and will have to come pick up their diplomas in person at the GED office. Those who pass will also be invited to participate in one of our three annual graduation ceremonies.
