If you took the General Educational
Development (GED) test and need a copy of your diploma and/or
transcript, the following instructions will help you prepare the
request. The GED office is not equipped to fulfill orders by telephone
or via the Internet, we require a written request accompanied by the
required fee. Once we receive the written request in the GED office, it
takes approximately 5-7 days for the document to be mailed.
To receive a copy of your diploma and/or
transcript, you should:
- Submit a request in writing that includes your name, date of
birth, and social security number. We also request that you provide
the year the test was taken and where the test was taken in your
request.
- Send a $4 money order or cashier's check for each copy you are
requesting.
- Send an envelope, with postage attached, addressed to where you
would like the transcript mailed. A transcript requires a letter sized
envelope with first class postage. A diploma requires a 10x13 envelope
with $.80 postage attached. If you order both documents, send only the
10x13 envelope.

Please remember, the GED office is not
allowed to send scores by FAX.
